Business Systems Analyst (Government Operations)
Analyze and improve business systems for government operations in Boston, ensuring public-facing systems are efficient, compliant, and user-friendly.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Optimize public-facing system performance
- Reduce system downtime by defined targets
- Deliver requirements within budget constraints
- Improve citizen user satisfaction scores
- Ensure regulatory compliance across systems
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Experience in government or public sector
- Experience in lieu of education accepted
- Public exposure / public-facing systems experience
- Located in or willing to work in Boston
- Requirements gathering
- System analysis & design
- Data modeling
- Government compliance frameworks
- Process mapping
- Testing & QA
- Reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- SDLC methodologies
- Analytical thinking
- Stakeholder communication
