Carpenter / Building Maintenance Technician

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter / Facilities Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, repair, and light construction projects across a variety of commercial, industrial, and facility environments. This position is ideal for a well-rounded trades professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will perform a combination of carpentry, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and renovation work while ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address facility issues.
• Troubleshoot building and infrastructure problems and implement effective repair solutions.
• Maintain equipment, fixtures, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner.

• Complete light construction and renovation projects.
• Install and repair doors, cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, trim, and other building components.
• Assist with facility upgrades, remodels, and improvement projects.
• Read and interpret work orders, project specifications, and blueprints.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable building codes and safety standards.

• Communicate effectively with clients, property managers, vendors, and team members.
• Provide recommendations regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements.
• Maintain a professional attitude and deliver exceptional customer service throughout all phases of work.
• Accurately document completed work and communicate project updates.

• Previous experience in carpentry, maintenance, facilities, construction, or skilled trades environments.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

• Indoor and outdoor work environments in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent travel between job sites.
• Exposure to dust, noise, fumes, and other typical construction and maintenance conditions.
• Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Timnath, CO.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
