KOCO Child Care Center in East Hampton, CT is looking for a full time experienced Preschool Teacher. The hours are 8:00-4:30, and pay starts at $16.95/hour (higher with ECE credits). Successful candidates have experience and/or education in early childhood, have an understanding of curriculum and CT-ELDS, are reliable, and can cooperate with a partner teacher. Position is available immediately.
Duties:
Cooperate with co-teacher
Interact with parents and junior staff
Facilitate learning for up to 19 students ages 3-4-5 years
Generate lesson plans using a variety of resources
Understand and employ CT-ELDS
Interact with community ECE professionals
Attend preschool-related trainings and functions
Must Haves:
At least 18 years old
Experience in early childhood education, preferably preschool
Good work ethic, reliable attendance
Ability to cooperate with others

First Aid CPR AED (CT Childcare version)
Medication Administration
College credits in Early Childhood Education
