Store Assistant Manager

Store 4703695: 5183 Murfreesboro Rd, La Vergne, Tennessee 37086 Position: Assistant Manager (Full time) Key Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager with oversight of the station store operations. Help with hiring, supervising and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping and merchandising. Maintain high standards and provide fast and friendly service to customers. Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance. Execute the food program standards. Display sense of urgency, patience and leadership, and set a positive example for staff. Preferred Skills & Experience Leading a team of employees/management. Recruiting, interviewing and hiring. Delegation and follow‑up. Teaching and motivating others. Planning and organizing. Communicating plans and ideas. Cash handling and bookkeeping. Problem solving. Advocating and empathizing. Safety and security. Qualifications Retail experience. Supervisor or management experience. Recruiting/hiring/interviewing skills. Experience handling food. High school/college degree(s). Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours. Lift or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes during shift. Occasionally lift or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level. Push or pull with arms up to 20 pounds. Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour during shift. Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands; require eye‑hand coordination; may involve climbing a ladder.
