Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr My client, a well-established commercial real estate owner/developer, is seeking a strong Senior Property Accountant. This role offers close mentorship from a great mentor and significant potential for growth. Responsibilities Oversee accounting duties for commercial and mixed-use properties Prepare financial statements for assigned portfolio Perform CAM reconciliations Analyze the general ledger for each property, prepare journal entries, calculate accruals and adjustments and maintain detailed workpaper files on a monthly basis Review results of operations and provide detailed explanations of variances Review invoices to ensure correct account coding and expense allocations Prepare reconciliations of all cash accounts, reserves and escrows Monitor cash balances and request capital funding, as needed Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules Calculate real estate tax and operating expense escalations Interact with asset managers, leasing agents, and property managers Assist in the resolution of tenant billing inquiries with accounts receivable and legal departments Compile financial information for analysts during debt refinances and/or sales of properties Prepare annual budget and reforecast Serve as the main contact for annual audits and tax return preparation Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Background in public accounting or private industry within the real estate industry Knowledge of Yardi, MRI or similar software is preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing, Analyst, and Management Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Genuine Search Group by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr Genuine Search Group
