Job Title Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Location Salem, MA Schedule / Job Type Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 65-bed pod-based Emergency Department serving approximately 230 visits per day Perform comprehensive patient assessments, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, and cardiac monitoring Conduct point-of-care testing, splinting, and patient education across all patient populations including pediatric and acute mental health Accurately document patient care and clinical findings using EPIC ASAP EMR Maintain a 1:4 clinician-to-patient ratio while applying strong critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment Float to other areas within the department as needed Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience Current AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Proficiency in general ED nursing skills including assessment, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, and splinting Preferred Experience / Skills NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification Prior experience with EPIC ASAP charting system Why Join Us Work in a well-structured, pod-based Emergency Department with dedicated pediatric and acute mental health areas Free on-site parking available Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 772258.
