Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide care for both stepdown and floor patients as dictated by hospital needs
• Titrate drips including heparin, insulin, and antihypertensives as ordered
• Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate patient documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care
• Work flexibly in a role that may require floating to similar units

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Current RN license (willing to wait for licensure if needed)
• BLS certification (AHA accredited)
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting
• Ability to manage and prioritize care for a 6:1 med-surg or a 3:1 stepdown ratio
