Concrete Superintendent

Run the field for a heavy-civil construction project — operations, manpower, equipment, schedule, and safety. You're the on-site authority, working hand-in-hand with the project manager and foremen to deliver on schedule and under budget. This role suits experienced field leaders who can read drawings, spot a problem coming, and get a crew moving. Responsibilities Lead the daily field operation: manpower assignment, equipment dispatch, sequencing. Read and interpret civil drawings and specifications; resolve conflicts in coordination with the project engineer. Drive the project schedule on the ground; keep the three-week look-ahead realistic and current. Own jobsite safety: lead the morning JHA, walk the work zone, address hazards immediately. Coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries with the project manager. Communicate progress, risks, and needs to the project manager daily. Mentor foremen; build crew capability over time. Maintain quality standards and own the punch-list close-out. Requirements 7+ years in heavy-civil, highway, or marine construction (with 3+ years as superintendent or senior foreman). Demonstrated ability to run a crew of 10+ on a multi-phase project. OSHA 30; valid driver's license. Strong reading of civil plans and survey stakeout. Able to plan a week ahead while running today. Comfortable with field reporting tools (HCSS HeavyJob or equivalent). #J-18808-Ljbffr
