About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of AI and Machine Learning to spearhead the definition and execution of AI strategy within a high-growth technology environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for combining hands-on machine learning expertise with strategic leadership to drive the real-world impact of advanced AI capabilities across a sophisticated product suite. This pivotal role involves defining and delivering AI and machine learning strategies that align with product and business objectives, designing and deploying advanced NLP and document intelligence models, and leading the full ML lifecycle from data ingestion to model deployment. The Head of AI and Machine Learning will also be tasked with exploring and implementing modern AI approaches, building and mentoring a high-performing machine learning team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions. Applicants for the Head of AI and Machine Learning position at the company should have a strong commercial background in building and deploying machine learning models, particularly in the areas of NLP and document intelligence. Proficiency in Python and modern machine learning frameworks, as well as experience in deploying models in production environments using cloud platforms, is essential. The role requires a proven ability to lead and develop technical teams, a strong understanding of the full machine learning lifecycle, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be adept at establishing best practices for model monitoring and performance optimization and will be capable of providing both technical and strategic guidance on AI opportunities and risks.
