We are seeking a professional level Java developer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA for a 12-month contract opportunity! If you have 3+ years of professional Java and Python development experience developing, testing, and deploying back end microservices and containers, please apply today!
Responsibilities:
Develop new applications and enhancements.
Unit test the solution and document the implemented design, procedures, and manuals for the final software solution.
Resolve production support issues and coordinate the release of new applications and enhancements.
Configure vendor software for automation as required.
Perform application performance monitoring and develop new enhancements
Qualifications:
3+ years of Java development experience developing back end applications
3+ years of experience developing microservices using Spring Boot
Previous Python development experience with MongoDB or Relational Databases
Previous Shell Scripting experience (preferred)
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field of study required
