Descripción de Cargo
El/La Chofer Categoría 8 es responsable de operar camiones de plataforma de manera segura y eficiente, asegurando el transporte adecuado de mercancía, materiales o equipos conforme a las rutas asignadas, cumpliendo con las normas de tránsito, seguridad y las políticas establecidas por la empresa. Responsabilidades:- Operar camiones de plataforma de forma segura y responsable.
- Transportar mercancía, materiales o equipos según las rutas asignadas.
- Cargar, asegurar y descargar la carga correctamente para prevenir daños.
- Realizar inspecciones del vehículo antes y después de cada recorrido y reportar cualquier desperfecto.
- Cumplir con las leyes de tránsito y normas de seguridad vial.
- Mantener registros básicos de entregas y documentación requerida.
- Mantener el vehículo limpio y en condiciones operacionales.
- Coordinar entregas de manera puntual siguiendo instrucciones del supervisor.
- Licencia de conducir Categoría 8 vigente.
- Experiencia previa manejando camiones de plataformas con tren sencillo, standard y automático, pickup y RAM.
Conocimiento básico de amarre y seguridad de carga. - Capacidad para realizar trabajo físico moderado.
- Puntualidad, responsabilidad y buen historial de manejo.
