Staff Accountant Commercial Property Accounting (Yardi)

Role Description The Staff Accountant is a full-time role in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing journal entries, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, and month-end and year-end close. The Staff Accountant will help maintain accurate financial records for multiple commercial properties, support budgeting and forecasting, and prepare routine financial reports for management and ownership. Additional responsibilities include monitoring tenant accounts, supporting audit and tax preparation, and working closely with property management and leadership to ensure compliance with internal controls and industry standards. Qualifications Required (please do not apply without these): Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager accounting software 2+ years of accounting experience in commercial real estate / property management Experience with CAM reconciliations, tenant billing, and owner/financial reporting Able to work a hybrid schedule in our Cary, NC office — local candidates only Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger and monthly close for a portfolio of commercial properties Prepare owner financial packages, budget-to-actual, and CAM reconciliations Process AP/AR and tenant billing in Yardi; support audits and reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr Lundy Management Group - Lee & Associates
