Step into an engaging contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy services for elementary students during the upcoming academic year. This position offers the chance to work full-time (35 hours per week, 8:15AM-3:15PM) in a supportive school environment from September 4th through June 25th. You’ll play a vital role on campus, delivering high-quality interventions and assessments to a diverse caseload, while enjoying a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid New Jersey SLP licensure required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior experience delivering school-based SLP services at the elementary level
• Comfortable adapting to district protocols and collaborating within the school community
• Ability to independently manage a caseload in need, including completing all required evaluations, testing, and student assessments
• Strong organizational skills and clear communication
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute within the area
• Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) or those credentialed as SLPA cannot be considered due to supervision limitations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language services to assigned elementary students
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop targeted treatment plans
• Complete all required paperwork, progress monitoring, and evaluation reports in a timely manner
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary support staff to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student services

Onboarding Requirements:

• Successful completion of TB screening, physical examination, and fingerprinting (both agency and district)
• Participation in a brief, 15-minute interview
