ABA Therapist Rotational Staff - Full Time

About Manhattan Behavioral Center New York City’s leading transdisciplinary ABA® Center for children with autism. Our framework integrates applied behavior analysis, special education, speech‑language therapy, physical and occupational therapy, sensory integration, group and social interaction, and family support for children ages 5‑21 with ASD and related neurodiversities. Job Details Full‑Time ABA Therapist Rotational Support Staff Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Location: Manhattan, NY Compensation: $45,000 – $50,000 per year based on education, experience, and certifications Your Impact Here at MBC Implement ABA-based programs using DTT, Learn Unit, Task Analysis, probe data, and NET teaching methods Collect program and behavior data which can include but are not limited to aggression, SIB, property destruction, elopement, stereotypy Implement research‑based interventions to decrease interfering behaviors and teach replacement skills Engage and use Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) holds/transport or disengagement tactics for students during behavioral episodes, including physical intervention when trained to deescalate children who may be a danger to themselves or others Prepare and organize teaching materials and teaching settings prior to each session Work collaboratively with a team of ABA therapists, BCBAs, and related service providers to implement student‑specific strategies and protocols Report issues or challenges to BCBA case manager or program supervisor Show a professional and calm demeanor throughout daily interactions with students, staff, parents, and visitors Must be capable of safely and effectively performing these duties on students of varying heights Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Requirements High school diploma; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Experience working with children with Autism or PDD population using the ABA model Ability to work independently and maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor when working in the home and clinic Flexibility to float across multiple teams or to be assigned to one team at times during the year Benefits Inclusive and diverse workplace where authenticity is celebrated Open‑door policy reflecting commitment to transparent and flexible communication Data‑informed decision making and continuous learning culture Mindset of growth with 5 professional development days per year Ongoing support from dedicated supervisors Opportunities for growth across all companies Generous benefits that include: Paid time off (PTO) in addition to company closures the last week of December and spring break in April Affordable health insurance plans to support employee well‑being Employer retirement plan Life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability Access to educational opportunities at Capella University plus scholarships to help cover tuition Our Core Values Commitment to building a better and more inclusive world for students, families, and community.
