What You Will Do We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator at our growing facility in Grand Prairie, TX. Dallas Airfoil Repair Operations, a recognized leader in the refurbishment of aero‑engine and Industrial Gas Turbine airfoils, is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team. This position is available on the first shift (5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.). Operate a variety of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) and manual machines to restore aero‑engine turbine airfoil components to their original form, fit, and function. Set up and operate basic machine tools to repair, make minor alterations, and produce less complex tooling while maintaining high‑quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints as well as work from written and verbal instructions. Frequently utilize measuring devices and determine product compliance with blueprint specifications. Perform preventative maintenance, service, and repair of equipment in the assigned area when issues are identified, documenting the results. Maintain records by completing check sheets, recording dimensional data on run charts, and completing Daily Walk Around (DWA) inspections while using a communication log. Move frequently along the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment (approximately 90% of the time). Transport product or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds as needed. Perform other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the facility. Qualifications You Must Have HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the US) Qualifications We Prefer Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in the use of machine tools and precision measuring instruments. Aerospace industry experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with SAP or similar enterprise software.
