GI TechnicianEndoscopy Institute of Hawaii, located in Honolulu, is looking for a PRN GI Technician to join our amazing and growing team.Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii is a leading outpatient facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures. Committed to improving digestive health, the Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii proudly serves the community with excellence and a focus on optimal outcomes.What You Will Do:As a GI Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.Monday-Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needsNO call required, NO NightsAbility to float to other centers with added compensationThe pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.Required Skills:High School Diploma or GEDPrior experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech is a plus.Patient care experience required in acute or critical care setting. We will train on GI/Endoscopy procedures.Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques is plus.Familiarity with clinical or surgical settingsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA (or ability to obtain)We are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
