We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead our FirstKids program which includes nursery through 5th grade. This role requires managing volunteers, working with church staff, and ministering to children and families. . This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in teaching and leading and event planning to enhance our community outreach and support initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of programs related to Children’s ministry.
• Educate staff, volunteers, and the church with how to best minister to families and children
• Lead fundraising efforts to secure financial resources for programs and services.
• Mentor team members, fostering professional growth and development within the organization.
• .
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, volunteers and community partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience in children’s ministry.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others To disciple the next generation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Ability to provide ministry to families.
• Experience working with children is an expected.
