Facilities Manager
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Facilities Management Department. The Facilities Manager is responsible for all activities related to Plant Operation, Routine Maintenance, Equipment, Utility, Life Safety, and overall Safety, in order to maintain a safe, reliable Environment of Care for Patients, Visitors and Staff. The successful employee will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform job duties in a safe, professional manner.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Post-secondary education in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent experience required.
- License/Certifications: 4th class Stationary Engineers License required. Valid Maine Driver's license.
- Experience: See "Education". Three to five (3-5) years in the hospital or service field.
- Ability to use basic computer functions Microsoft Office, Email.
- Strong knowledge of codes and regulations and standards.
