About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Sales for its aerospace services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth in the sector, proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and leading the sales team to exceed revenue targets. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development within the aerospace industry, a comprehensive understanding of the industry landscape, and a proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales include expanding and maintaining a network of industry contacts, promoting teamwork across functional teams, staying abreast of market trends, and managing the delivery of persuasive proposals and contracts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, and possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A strategic mindset, strong leadership abilities, and a willingness to travel extensively are also essential for this role. The Vice President of Sales will be the face of the company at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows, and will be expected to provide executive management with actionable business insights based on the analysis of sales performance data.
