Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Location : Utica, New York, 13502 (On-site) Job Duration : 13 Weeks Contract to start with Job Working Days : Monday – Friday Weekly Gross : $1,600 (Payrate can be negotiable) JOB DUTIES : - Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care (LTC) facility under the supervision of an RN or physician. Administer prescribed medications, injections, treatments, and IV therapy (where permitted by state regulations). Monitor and document residents' vital signs, pain levels, intake/output, and overall health status. Assess residents for changes in physical, mental, and emotional condition and promptly report significant findings. Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, tracheostomy care, ostomy care, and other skilled nursing procedures. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, medications, and resident progress in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control policies and maintain a safe environment for residents. #J-18808-Ljbffr
