Senior Project Business Analyst

Job Summary
This role supports organizational change by defining needs, recommending solutions, and managing project activities for various initiatives. Responsibilities include developing business cases, eliciting and analyzing requirements, facilitating RFP activities, and implementing strategic plans. The role also involves creating measurement activities to report on project effectiveness, ROI, and success metrics. Additional duties include process improvement initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, project documentation management, and promoting methodologies across the institute.

Required Qualifications



 

• Five (5) years of business analysis experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge guidelines (BABOK).
• Advanced proficiency in business analysis techniques and principles.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Intermediate knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge guidelines (PMBOK).
• Intermediate knowledge of change management principles.
• Intermediate knowledge of healthcare/research operations and systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of risk management principles.

Preferred Qualifications



 

• Seven (7) years of business analysis experience overseeing medium-to-large complex projects.
• Three (3) years of project management experience in small-to-medium initiatives.
• Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare, research, or academic-related environment.

Required Education



 

• Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Education



 

• Advanced degree in healthcare, healthcare IT, business administration, management, or related field.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure



 

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
• ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or Black Belt (CSSGB) Certifications.
