Job Title: CNA: Corrections
Location: Dillwyn, Virginia
Setting: State Prison
Pay Range: Up to $900 weekly
Schedule: Days, 36-hours per week, Every other weekend, Holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience as a CNA
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 years of experience in the correctional setting
• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant license
• Be willing to obtain VA licensure

Responsibilities

As a healthcare professional in a Corrections facility, you'll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include:

• Support licensed nursing staff (RNs, LPNs) by assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), ensuring inmate-patients receive essential hygiene, mobility, and nutritional care in a secure correctional setting.
• Perform routine patient monitoring, including vital signs, intake/output documentation, and reporting changes in inmate conditions-helping to maintain safety and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EMR systems in compliance with facility protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a secure, structured environment-providing care that truly matters.
