Cable Technician

Position Overview:
Lee Infinite Solutions is seeking two Cable Technicians to support a large-scale cabling infrastructure project for Citizens Energy Group in Indianapolis. This project involves replacing cabling for approximately 150 security cameras across 8-9 buildings at 2 primary project sites located approximately 1 mile apart.

We are looking for motivated technicians with experience in telecommunications cabling, including Cat6 and fiber installations. At least one technician must possess a current BICSI certification. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights, operating lifts, and performing physically demanding cable installation work.

Job Responsibilities:
- Pull, route, and install Cat6 and fiber optic cabling throughout commercial facilities.
- Support the replacement and deployment of cabling for approximately 150 security cameras.
- Test and certify all installed cabling using provided testing equipment.
- Read and follow installation plans, cable pathways, and project specifications.
- Work safely on ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas.
- Communicate project updates and installation progress with project leadership.
- Travel between project locations as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of cable installation or telecommunications experience.
- Current BICSI certification
- Experience installing and pulling Cat6 cable in commercial environments.
- Basic fiber optic cabling experience.
- Ability to perform cable testing and troubleshoot installation issues.
- Experience working with telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Comfortable working at heights and operating lifts.
- Ability to lift, carry, and install cabling throughout multiple facilities.
- Must provide and maintain personal hand tools required for cabling work.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Camera/security system cabling experience.
- Experience on large-scale commercial cabling projects.
