Enterprise Project Manager

Scrum Master

Position is 100% ONSITE in Columbia, SC. No remote work allowed. Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.

Scope of the project: The Agency's Division of Enterprise Applications is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide daily activities. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our organization, ensuring the team can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions.

• This position is responsible for removing impediments and facilitating Scrum ceremonies to include daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint retrospectives.
• You will work closely with the product owners, stakeholders, and product development teams to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality.
• Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to our team — helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum activities such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. Ensure team follows Scrum framework and agile principles.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospective and feedback sessions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

• 3+ Years of Experience as a Scrum Master
• 3+ Years of Experience with Azure DevOps
• 3+ Years of Experience with Leading Scrum Ceremonies.
• 3+ Years of Experience with DB Querying and Programming
• 3+ Years of Experience with Agile Project Management Tools
• 3+ Years of Experience with hybrid project management (Agile combined with Waterfall)
• Bachelor's Degree - field of study is open but the degree must be complete and verifiable

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certification in Agile methodologies, like Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Government Experience
• ERP Experience

Additional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Required Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education/Certifications:

• Certification in agile methodologies such as certified scrum master or professional scrum master
