Production Operator II

Production OperatorColostrum Production Operator 2 is responsible for operating either the dryers or equipment in the wet processing area after having been signed off on either training packet and demonstrating mastery in the applicable procedures. This position is also responsible for continuing to train, be signed off, and demonstrate mastery in the topics covered in the remaining training packet.Essential Functions:Operating all equipment in either the Wet Processing or Drying areas in accordance with SOP.Ensuring samples are pulled and sent to the lab to maintain the customer desired quality of our product.Maintaining a clean safe work environment.Dumping and cleaning buckets of frozen colostrum.Packaging powder in the dryer rooms.Cleaning the outside of tanks, equipment and performing CIPs (clean-in-place).Responsible for the regular cleaning of the dryer, sifter, and other equipment to help eliminate the possibility of product contamination.Training to operate specific pieces of equipment and, once signed off, operating them independently.Handling cleaning chemicals in accordance with the SDS and always using proper PPE.Understanding and filling out master batch records correctly and completely.Following and executing good document practices.Adhering to all GMP's and SOP's.Following all safety guidelines.Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.Frequently lifting and/or moving items over 50 pounds.Cross-training and working in other departments as needed.Utilizing GPS processes, driving zero losses and upholding the culture of Aps BioGroups non-negotiables.Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates.Delivering on Glanbia's Values:"Showing Respect" - Research issues & incidents with internal teams, business partners and customers in a collaborative manner that includes professional, honest and transparent communication."Find a Better Way" - Work with internal and external teams to implement process improvements and/or procedural changes that eliminate non-value added activities and drive more business value."Winning Together" - Assist with training of new team members.
