Mortgage Sales Manager (Midlothian)

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Manager to lead and grow our consultative Mortgage Guide team. In this role, you will drive revenue and build a culture of consultative sales with focus on customer experience and accountability. This is an exciting opportunity ideal for a proven mortgage sales leader who thrives in a start-up, consultative, growth-oriented environment.

What a Day Looks Like

• Develop structure, SOPs, workflow, workforce planning, and lender relationships.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop a high-performing and consultative team of Mortgage Guides.
• Originate loans while building the team and w ork with homebuyers to determine the best approach to get to their Home Ownership Day.
• Set and monitor individual and team expectations, goals, and performance benchmarks.
• Coach and mentor team members with regular one-on-ones, training sessions, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with operations and lenders to ensure seamless borrower experience.
• Identify opportunities and adjust strategies and approach accordingly.
• Monitor licensing, continuing education, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and company lending regulations and guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

• Active MLO license with NMLS in good standing
• 3-5+ years of mortgage industry experience with at least 2 years in a sales leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo loans.
• Comfortable working in a technology-driven, app-first environment
• Consultative approach focused on finding the right financing solution for each buyer.
• Excellent coaching, communication, and people skills with an interest in building processes, developing people, and leading a growing mortgage team.
• Based in the Midlothian/Richmond, Virginia area.
• Full-time in office initially, transitioning to a hybrid schedule with Tuesdays and Thursdays in office.

Compensation

Base Salary: $120,000–$170,000 annually + annual incentive bonus. The range represents our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In exceptional circumstances, compensation may exceed the stated range.
