Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed TWIC in La Porte, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations and concerns to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
