By embedding advanced cybersecurity features, we are enhancing the operational effectiveness and safety of our technologies in an increasingly complex digital landscape.THE WORKAs a Cyber Systems Security Engineer Sr, you will support the integration of modern cybersecurity solutions across multiple Owego programs. You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems are not only effective but also resilient in the face of evolving threats. Key responsibilities include:Cybersecurity Design & Implementation: Support the decomposition of Statements of Work (SOW) into actionable, cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. Design and oversee the implementation of critical cybersecurity capabilities. Collaboration & Strategy Development: Work with internal and external teams to enhance Cyber Resiliency across a portfolio of Owego programs.Cybersecurity Leadership: Lead the effort to streamline the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and accelerate Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.Security Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the development of cybersecurity artifacts, ensuring compliance with industry standards like NIST 800-53. Lead efforts to achieve and maintain ATO for systems and technologies.Please note: This position requires ability to maintain a government DoD SECRET level clearance.This position is onsite in Owego, NY. Learn more about Lockheed Martin's Comprehensive benefits package here!#cyberetechBasic Qualifications:• 3+ years of equivalent experience• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)• Security + or equivalent DoD 8570 / 8140 certification required• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level• Must be willing to travel up to 10%Desired Skills:• Engineering bachelor's degree with 2 years experience• Experience using Security Center/ACAS – Assured Compliance Assessment Solution• Scripting experience (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell).• Experience navigating and securing Linux and Windows.• Ability to analyze security reports and mitigate security vulnerabilities.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
