Position Overview

The Construction Management Intern will support project managers and site supervisors across active construction projects. This internship is designed to provide real-world exposure to project coordination, field operations, safety, and quality control in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily project management activities, including scheduling, procurement, and coordination
• Support site supervisors and project managers in tracking project progress
• Participate in site inspections and quality control activities
• Assist with preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed
• Build working relationships with internal teams, trade partners, vendors, and clients
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Strong interest in construction and eagerness to learn
• Basic understanding of construction processes, tools, and equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors and on active construction sites
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive

Location & Schedule

• McPherson, KS (travel to project sites as needed)
• Full-time, 40+ hours per week
• Internship runs late May through mid-August
