Welder

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder with experience in MIG and TIG welding of both aluminum and steel components. This position plays a critical role in fabricating quality products to exact specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Set up and operate MIG/TIG welding equipment according to production schedules. * Adjust machine settings to ensure proper weld quality and product conformance. * Weld and assemble components using samples, blueprints, or work instructions. * Conduct destructive weld testing as required. * Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality. * Create samples and prototypes for new products. * Complete necessary documentation and records accurately. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized 5S-compliant work environment. * Report any machine or tooling issues to the Production Manager. * Adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed. Required Skills & Experience: * Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and calibrated measuring tools. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Basic math and reading comprehension. * Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly. * Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and material handling. * Flexibility to work overtime on short notice. Preferred Qualifications: * 1-3 years of hands-on MIG/TIG welding experience. * Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
