Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services in a fast-paced environment across all campuses within the healthcare organization. The position requires a highly skilled professional with experience in MRI procedures, equipment operation, and patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current MRI / Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience; strong proficiency in Siemens MRI equipment; ARRT / American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification; ARMRIT certification or equivalent; valid driver's license; work history demonstrating MRI experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC or EPIC Radiant systems; Level I trauma experience highly preferred; Level II trauma experience required; experience working across multiple campuses; prior travel experience preferred.
• Additional Information: The assignment requires quick candidate screening via phone call or text. Orientation sessions are scheduled for 08/24/2026, 08/31/2026, and 09/08/2026. The candidate must be willing to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). The role includes working one weeknight and one weekend every tenth weekend. Travelers may be required to float across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran, and other facilities.
• Other Details: Holiday work is mandated unless the unit is closed. Candidates are expected to provide professional references from within the last 24 months.
