We operate as a GC managing multiple subcontractors across complex façade and envelope projects, with typical project values ranging from $20M to $80M. Project Estimator – Exterior Restoration / Local Law 11 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to lead the pricing and bid strategy for large-scale façade restoration and Local Law 11 projects in New York City. This role is critical to our preconstruction process and requires a strong understanding of exterior systems, subcontractor coordination, and NYC construction logistics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes bidding environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for large‑scale exterior restoration and waterproofing projects ($20M–$80M range) Analyze drawings, specifications, and site conditions specific to façade and Local Law 11 work Solicit, level, and manage bids from subcontractors across multiple trades Develop comprehensive scopes of work and ensure full project coverage Identify risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities during the bid phase Collaborate with ownership, project managers, and field teams to align budgets and execution strategy Maintain relationships with key subcontractors, vendors, and consultants in the NYC market Participate in bid reviews, presentations, and post‑bid negotiations Track historical cost data to improve future estimating accuracy Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction estimating (NYC experience strongly preferred) Proven experience estimating large‑scale construction projects, ideally façade restoration, waterproofing, or exterior envelope work Strong knowledge of NYC Local Law 11 and façade systems (scaffolding, masonry, waterproofing, etc.) Experience working for a general contractor managing multiple subcontractors Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Strong subcontractor network within the NYC construction market is a major plus Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel What We Offer Opportunity to work on some of NYC’s largest and most complex façade restoration projects High visibility role with direct impact on company growth Collaborative, fast‑moving team environment Competitive compensation package based on experience Long‑term growth within a rapidly scaling organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Park Avenue Building & Roofing Supplies
