Description:Seeking an experienced urologist to provide call coverage for urgent and emergent cases.Procedures may include cystoscopy and ureteroscopy for stones, stent placement, and management of bleeds and strictures.Equipment available includes disposable and flexible cystoscopes/ureteroscopes, rigid telescopes, and various urology supplies.There is access to laser services and in-house radiology support for intraoperative C-Arm needs.Lithoclast and TUR/TURB instrumentation are available as well as video boom systems in all operating rooms.The position includes a mobile Urology Cart for providers needing supplies in the emergency room or inpatient units.Credentialing and privileging are required prior to start.Patient encounters per shift are not applicable.The facility operates at a trauma level 2.Specialty skills required include general urology and ureteroscopy.Robotic surgery skills are also a requirement for this position.
