Retirement Plans Administrator

Retirement Plan Administrator The Retirement Plan Administrator is part of the corporate human resources group based in Omaha, NE. The role requires an experienced 401(k) and retirement plan professional to manage all aspects of the company’s 401(k), ESOP, HDR stock program, international phantom share, Canada RRSP, and deferred compensation plans. Responsibilities Maintain 401(k) participant data, facilitate loan recordkeeping, wire contributions, process terminations and distributions, and coordinate plan administration with payroll and the plan recordkeeper. Administer the HDR stock buy/sell arrangement, reconcile stock census data, process sales and redemptions, and prepare reports for executive leadership. Manage international phantom share programs: coordinate annual enrollment, lead educational webinars, prepare and process distributions, and submit payroll files by country. Coordinate Canada RRSP enrollment, conduct financial wellness meetings, approve distributions, and submit bi‑weekly payroll files. Assist with the Executive Deferred Compensation program and co‑administer the annual Phantom Share Buy/Sell Program, verifying daily and annual buy/sell numbers reported to management. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience with benefits analysis and administration of 401(k) plans and ESOPs (or comparable ERISA retirement plans). In‑depth knowledge of ERISA laws and regulations regarding qualified retirement plans. Experience with phantom share programs, Canadian retirement plans, deferred compensation (Non‑Qualified) plans, or company‑sponsored buy/sell arrangements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a closely relevant field. Minimum 3 years of benefits or finance experience. Proficiency in Excel and demonstrated skills in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, HRIS, and payroll systems. Strong organizational, prioritization, and deadline‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion, maintain confidentiality, and act with high integrity. Ability to develop positive relationships with employees and external vendors. Limited travel may be required. Commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture.
