Medical Assistant Apprentice

Full-time, 100% FTE. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

We offer a competitive starting pay of $18.25 per hour. Upon graduation from the program, pay would increase based on the Medical Assistant pay grade.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant Apprentice (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:

• Collaborate with pain management practitioners who provide medication management, interventional treatments, pain psychology, addiction counseling and support groups.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.
• Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, document chief complaint, medications, and allergies, and assist with treatments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required and
• Formal acceptance into the UW Health Medical Assistant Clinical Apprentice Program Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of prior work experience Required

Licenses & Certifications

• CPR/BLS certification within 120 Days Required
