If you think you'd excel as an Insurance Agent, we'd love to hear from you.Insurance Agent ResponsibilitiesIdentify opportunities to sell life, health, or car insurance to a variety of clients, working with them to find the policy that best suits their needsGo through policies with clients so that they have an understanding of the insurance costs and benefitsWork alongside marketing team members to further client outreachWork alongside insurance adjustersMaintain all client recordsProvide continual service by processing insurance renewals and working to retain clientsTrack insurance claims to ensure the satisfaction of all partiesDistribute policy funds after a claim has been settledAnswer client and potential client insurance-related queries as neededInsurance Agent Requirements2+ years experience as an Insurance AgentBA/BS in business, economics, or related field preferredAppropriate insurance licensing where required by lawExcellent customer service skillsSuperb communication and negotiation skillsIn-depth knowledge of different types of insurance, including life, health, and car insuranceStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficient software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
