Our goal is to break down barriers and make sure everyone feels comfortable and valued in our shops, regardless of their riding skills, mechanical knowledge, or background.

POSITION PROFILE: We're looking for someone who is passionate about bicycles, committed to delivering exceptional customer service, and dedicated to achieving high standards of quality. This role requires strong product knowledge, especially in high-end bicycle sales, as well as effective leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Exceeding annual sales of $150,000
• Completing a comprehensive training program, encompassing in-store training and paid online training
• Familiarity with all bike brands and models stocked by the store
• Interacting with customers and providing top-notch service, educating them on bicycles, accessories, and other cycling-related products
• Conducting bike sizing for various bike models
• Guiding customers through the entire sales process
• Assisting with daily store operations, including restocking, cleaning, organizing, and merchandising
• Addressing customer concerns
• Knowledge of high-end accessories and parts, as well as full suspension bike design features and benefits
• Custom bike sales, selecting compatible parts to build up a bare frame
• Participating in inventory planning sessions to guide selection and depth
• Learning from colleagues and sharing knowledge on new products and events
• Demonstrating strong leadership and coaching skills
• Understanding and adhering to company policies, programs, and standards
• Performing other tasks assigned by the store manager

This Retail Sales Associate L2 position is part-time or full-time, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week, depending on the season. You should be able to work evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate:

• Must be passionate about cycling and promoting the benefits of a cycling lifestyle and culture.
• Has at least 2 years of sales experience in retail, preferably with bicycles
• Is comfortable working in an incentive-based system where sales and outreach performance are measured
• Enthusiastically believes in delivering exceptional customer service and creating an exceptional retail experience
• Can safely lift and carry 75lbs on a regular basis
• Is self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to speak Spanish or other languages is encouraged
