Wesley Glen Ministries is looking for full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are reliable, compassionate, and committed to making a real impact in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.

As a DSP, you will be more than just a caregiveryou will be an advocate, mentor, and supporter, helping residents live as independently as possible. Our group homes provide 24/7 care for four adults each, and our team works collaboratively to ensure that every resident thrives physically, emotionally, and socially.

What You'll Do:

Take ownership of creating a safe, clean, and engaging home environment. Support residents with daily life skills like meal preparation, hygiene, and housekeeping. Ensure medication is properly managed and documented. Encourage personal growth by facilitating social activities and skill-building opportunities. Accurately document progress and communicate updates to the team. Drive residents to appointments, community events, and recreational activities. Actively engage in problem-solving and be flexible when challenges arise. Be a team playerreliable, punctual, and willing to step up when needed.

Requirements:

Must be 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years and a clean 7-year driving history. Pass a background check & drug screening. CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to get certified). Able to lift/carry 15+ lbs and assist adults up to 300 lbs. Comfortable working in various conditions, including outdoor activities and occasional high-stress situations.
