Overview The Event Planning Manager plays a vital role in bringing unforgettable meetings, conferences, and social events to life at Hyatt Regency Tamaya. This is a dynamic, high-energy position where no two days look the same. You’ll often find yourself balancing multiple moving pieces at once—juggling timelines, client needs, internal coordination, all while keeping every detail aligned and every stakeholder informed. Key Responsibilities Event Coordination — Act as the main point of contact for assigned group and social events, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service. Event Detailing — Coordinate agendas, room setups, menus, audiovisual needs, billing instructions, and special requests. Cross-Department Collaboration — Partner closely with Sales, Event Services, Culinary, AV, and Operations teams to ensure flawless execution. Pre-Event Leadership — Lead pre-event meetings and clearly communicate event requirements to internal teams. Client Relationship Management — Host site inspections, maintain strong planner relationships, and provide timely follow-up and post-event communication. Record Keeping — Maintain accurate event files, room block management, pickup reports, and billing documentation.
