Position Overview Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit located in Hampton, VA. The position offers a $15,000 sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates, with a bonus for new graduates. Shift & Hours Shift: Weekend Nights (Premium Shift Differential) Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Unit Description This 24‑bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit cares for patients on telemetry monitoring who require advanced cardiac evaluation and interventions, such as cardiac cath, transfer for cardiac surgery, or diagnostic testing like stress tests or echocardiograms. Responsibilities Assess and admit patients. Conduct rounding checks. Administer medications. Communicate with family members. Provide overall patient care and collaborate with the care team. Qualifications Virginia or Compact Multistate license in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
