Vice President of Strategy and Branch Operation

Position Summary

The Vice President of Strategy & Branch Operations is a critical leadership role responsible for driving growth, operational performance, and strategic expansion across Glasfloss’ branch network. This position combines business unit leadership, commercial strategy, and operational execution to support Vision 2030 and beyond.

This role is accountable for branch performance, market expansion, M&A activity, and operational turnaround initiatives , particularly across Filter Systems and AFSS. 

Responsibilities

1. Branch Performance & Turnaround Leadership

• Lead the operational and financial performance of branch operations, including Filter Systems and AFSS
• Drive turnaround initiatives and stabilize underperforming locations
• Provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to branch leadership
• Improve revenue growth, profitability, and operational discipline
• Resolve organizational and cultural challenges to improve employee engagement

2. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

• Support execution of Vision 2030 growth strategy , including expansion into underserved markets
• Conduct market sizing, segmentation, and competitive analysis
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for organic growth and new market entry
• Partner with executive leadership to align on long-term growth initiatives

3. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

• Identify, evaluate, and support acquisition opportunities within the AFD channel
• Lead due diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning
• Support execution of M&A strategy to drive incremental revenue and EBITDA growth

4. Sales, Marketing & Commercial Strategy

• Develop and execute market segmentation and go-to-market strategies
• Drive sales growth across branch operations and service businesses
• Support product, pricing, and promotional initiatives aligned with the “4 P’s”
• Expand channel presence across AFD, ARW, OEM, and emerging markets

5. Organizational Leadership & Talent Development

• Build and develop high-performing leadership teams across branch operations
• Establish succession plans for key leadership roles
• Strengthen accountability, leadership capability, and team structure
• Partner with executive leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness

6. Operational Excellence

• Improve operational processes across inventory, service delivery, and fulfillment
• Drive margin improvement and cost controls
• Enhance coordination between sales, operations, and manufacturing
• Lead implementation of best practices across multi-location operations

Required Experience/Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience
• Demonstrated ownership of a $25M–$50M+ P&L
• Proven success managing multi-location operations
• Experience leading both sales and operational teams

Strong track record in:

• Revenue growth and margin improvement
• Market strategy and segmentation
• New product or service rollout
• M&A execution and integration

Preferred Experience

• Distribution or industrial business model experience
• HVAC, MRO, aftermarket, or light manufacturing exposure
• Experience in private equity or roll-up environments
• History of building teams, opening branches, or scaling operations
