IT Technology Program Management

IT technology program management for Oceanside site, working in collaboration with IT Business Engagement, providing hands-on demand tracking, issue management and escalation, coordination of IT efforts, and status reporting. Over the next several years, Gilead will continue to build out and invest and begin new projects at the Oceanside site. Currently there are over 12 automation projects ongoing for IT services. These include IT technology demands and issue resolution, such as network remediation, network segmentation, EMS/Client upgrade and OSI PI deployment. These would benefit from tracking from a program perspective. At least 8 years of experience in project management with a Bachelor's degree and a Pharma Manufacturing background is desirable.

Responsibilities include:

• Development and maintenance of the integrated technology project plans for Oceanside
• Maintenance of IT Demand Tracker, adding new demands, tracking progress and resolution of open demands, and reporting as needed
• Assist IT site lead in development and maintenance and communications of program dashboard(s)
• Assist IT site lead on assessing business capability development aligned with business strategy
• Ensure alignment of critical milestones across the work streams or projects and perform risk and schedule impact assessment for any technology schedule changes due to movement of any of the critical or interdependent milestones.
• Participation/contribution to business PMO activities as required to ensure technology status & timelines are understood and represented appropriately
• Facilitate technology-related PM, IT, or cross-functional meetings for discussion, issue resolution, action items, agreements
• Provide project management guidance on business led initiatives, contributing to successful start and delivery
• Escalate issues and risks from various projects to appropriate steering committees, IT leadership, or governance groups
• Primary point of coordination between the business PMO and the various technology work streams, namely:
• IT Infrastructure
• Automation systems
• QC Laboratory Systems
• Laboratory Instruments
