Quality Assurance Coordinator
Quality Assurance Coordinator Baldwin Park, CA Pay: $21.00 $23.00/hour Schedule: Monday Friday | 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to support quality operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspecting finished products, identifying nonconforming materials, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
- Complete quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify, label, and segregate nonconforming products while documenting quality issues.
- Report quality concerns to production and technical teams as they occur.
- Utilize inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and gauges.
- Support quality investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with production and quality teams to maintain product quality standards.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional college coursework preferred.
- 1-2 years of quality inspection experience in medical device, plastics, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Experience inspecting molded components and documenting nonconformances.
- Knowledge of SPC, control plans, and quality inspection processes is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
