Overview
Radiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) traveling to Watertown, New York. This assignment starts on 09/28/2026 and runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours. The position offers a day shift (8-hour days) with a weekly pay range of $3,071 to $3,278. Work setting: hospital.

Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments according to the treatment plan using a Varian TrueBeam accelerator, and utilize IX and Aria software for verification and record-keeping.
- Prepare and position patients, apply immobilization devices as needed, and perform image-guided verification to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
- Collaborate with the oncology team, including radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other therapists, to ensure safe and effective care.
- Monitor patients during treatment, recognize and report adverse reactions, and document treatment sessions in accordance with policy.
- Maintain radiation safety practices, perform routine equipment checks, and escalate any equipment concerns promptly.
- Maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law; stay current with licensure, ARRT certification, and BCLS.

Requirements
- New York state license in hand required
- ARRT registered (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- One year of radiation therapy experience
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Current BCLS certification
- Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology; ability to work in a hospital setting
- Preferred: experience and training in Radiology; familiarity with Varian TrueBeam and IX/Aria software
