Life & Commercial Insurance Consultant | Farmers Insurance District 40

Farmers Insurance District 40 is looking for a licensed insurance professional to join our team with one primary focus: helping our agencies grow their Life and Commercial insurance business.

You do not need to be a Life or Commercial expert coming into this role. We'll provide the training, resources, and product knowledge you need. What we're looking for is someone who already understands the insurance industry, has a strong sales mindset, and is excited about helping other people succeed.

Instead of managing one individual book of business, you'll work directly with Farmers agency owners and producers across the district to uncover opportunities, strengthen sales strategies, and drive Life and Commercial production.

What You'll Do

• Coach agency owners and producers on Life and Commercial sales

• Help agencies identify opportunities within their existing books, new business pipelines, referrals, and prospecting

• Educate agency teams on Life and Commercial products and sales opportunities

• Coach sales techniques including discovery, cross-selling, prospecting, objection handling, and closing

• Help agencies build better processes for introducing Life and Commercial into everyday customer conversations

• Review production and identify where opportunities are being missed

• Help agencies set goals, create action plans, and stay accountable to them

• Develop district-wide trainings, sales strategies, campaigns, and contests

• Track Life and Commercial performance and help drive district goals

• Share successful strategies and best practices across our agencies

What We're Looking For

• Insurance industry experience

• Active insurance license required

• Strong understanding of insurance sales and the agency environment

• Comfortable coaching, training, and working with others

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Organized and able to manage multiple agencies, priorities, and follow-ups

• Comfortable reviewing production numbers and using them to drive action

• Proactive, competitive, and motivated by results

• Willing to learn and become a district resource for Life and Commercial insurance

Life and Commercial experience is a plus, but it is not required. We will train the right person.
