Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health unit. The ideal candidate will possess de-escalation skills and experience working in psychiatric settings. This role is crucial in providing care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents and adults dealing with mental wellness and dual diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort for patients in a behavioral health environment.
• Implement de-escalation techniques effectively when necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and behavior.
• Support and educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment resources.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrated experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Experience with CIWA and COWS protocols is a plus.
