What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to facility personnel visitors and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as required and document visitor vehicle and/or incident information in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment complete required reports and communicate observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related law enforcement or military experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
