Client Overview Our client is a well-established and stable company located in the heart of Union Square, Manhattan, seeking to bring an Accountant into a collaborative, close‑knit environment where their work can make a real impact. Salary/Hourly Rate $27/hr – $35/hr Position Overview This Accountant role is a dynamic, hands‑on position supporting day‑to‑day financial operations while working closely with the CFO. Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, expense reporting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is eager to grow their accounting experience in a small, collaborative team. This is a hybrid role (2 days onsite, 3 days remote). Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time. Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations. Process accounts payable, billing, and invoicing. Conduct account analysis and maintain financial records. Manage employee expense reports from submission through approval. Track and maintain fixed assets. Assist with sales and financial reporting analysis. Support daily accounting operations and ad hoc projects as needed. Required Experience / Skills 1–3 years of accounting experience (Accountant, Junior Accountant, or similar role). Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct or similar preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Comfortable in a structured, fast‑paced environment. Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in a small team or high‑touch finance environment. Exposure to financial reporting or analysis. Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or other Chinese dialects is a plus, but not required. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
