Transportation Aide

Northwest Kidney Centers is hiring a Transportation Aid to join our Yesler Terrace Kidney Center clinic in Seattle, WA. This position will be in-person.

Purpose The Transportation Aide is responsible to the Clinic Manager for the Yesler Terrace Unit, and for facilitating the Yesler Terrace Kidney Centers building activities. This position greets patients and guests to the building providing building information and directions, telephone answering services, and distribution of badges for garage parking. Assisting in transporting Yesler Kidney center patients from the front door (lobby) to the designated treatment area and at the end of treatment, to take patients from the treatment area to the front door (lobby). Additionally, the position is responsible for other clerical projects.

Shift: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 4 x 10 hour shifts, Days, 5:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Sat

Required qualifications

• Proof of High School Diploma (or GED or advanced degree)

Preferred qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of patients, patients' family, NKC staff, medical staff, drivers, and volunteers
• Computer based skills in Microsoft Office
• Database skills

This position is eligible for an evening shift premium of $1.31/hour.
This position is eligible for a weekend premium of $2.00/hour.

Salary Range: 13 $21.30 - $22.52 - $28.80
