Restaurant General Manager – Georgetown Company: Summerwood Corporation Pay: Base $55,000–$64,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience). Responsibilities Overall leadership and direct supervision of restaurant operations to meet or exceed annual operating plan. Drive excellence in customer service, maintain company standards in product and facility specifications. Supervise food handling procedures and operational processes. Exercise financial control to meet the restaurant profit margin targets. Select, train, develop and motivate employees. Hands‑on operational work as necessary (train employees, respond to customer service needs). Track, analyze and resolve sources of customer complaints; ensure food safety standards. Develop and drive restaurant annual operating plan, analyze sales, labor, inventory and controllables. Train and mentor subordinates on financial analyses and profitability tips. Develop store CAPEX requests and interface with vendors. Ensure facilities and equipment maintained, monitor inventory and order fulfillment, establish service speed targets. Oversee development of weekly management and crew schedules. Direct restaurant-level HR activities: hiring decisions, learning zone planning, performance management. Provide hands‑on training for management staff, develop shift managers and assistant general managers. Manage employee relations and labor practices, ensure fair and equitable treatment. Measure success via operating plan achievement, margin improvement, sales and labor performance, and staff development metrics. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Supervisory experience in food service or retail environment. Ability to maintain financial controls and coach hourly employees. Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction. Working Conditions Work hours: 10 hours per day, 5 days per week. Environment 95% inside / 5% outside, ambient near ovens and stoves, noise normal.
